Chevalier Mittens
I finished Chevalier mittens on New Year's Day and I guess I can count them as the first FO of the year. They have already been worn twice and they are perfectly warm.
Pattern: Chevalier Mittens by Tikru
Yarn: Jaeger Extra Fine Merino Aran Coffee, 2 balls plus a little scraps from brownbelle
Needle: US #5, 3.5mm
Modifications: None.
Love them every bit. Period. Seriously, these are worth knitting again and again! The thumb is just perfect, with no hideous holes. The cables are not just pretty but create a nice thick fabric that your hands will never complain when it's cold. I had fun knitting them and wearing them. I have mitten bug right now, so that means you will be seeing more mittens.

You are so talented--these are gorgeous--love the color of your coat too!

Those are wonderful! I've been so obsessed with colorwork mittens I completely forgot about the wonders of cabled mittens!

Those are lovely, I still have not ventured into glove knitting. There are so many great patterns around.
